When you highlight everything we call that the “jaundiced page” (implying yellow is used.)

    Hey Ben and Joan,

Really enjoy your podcasts. Still keen to get Dan Everest connected up for a podcast from Hong Kong one day.

I was interested to see the pull tab on your last notebook file about notetaking. I have seen this same technique on another downloaded file. Is the pull tab a graphic that you can download to the gallery?

Thanks for the Q-Chart highlighted in episode #94. I shared it with a special education teacher and saw her using it today. Wow! She had a picture on her SMART Board from Museum of Hoaxes. She used Pin Page and students used the Q-Chart to write questions about the photo. They wrote some great questions and it helped spark wonderful conversations!

My tech-savvy associate principal shared a link to your podcasts with me and I am completely addicted.

I will be spending this long weekend (observation of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday on Monday) catching up on the lessons I’ve missed.

I look forward to learning from those to come!
    Thanks!
    Michelle

I love your podcast. I just dicovered it last week on iTunes and have already listened to 10 podcasts. I like your pithy wit and puns. I really like that you build your lessons on key pedogogy principles.

I didn’t really understand how to apply Marzono’s notetaking method with my 3rd graders until you explained it in your podcast #108. We use hi-lighting and graphic organizers when we read non-fiction and textbooks. I now understand how they fit together.

The Edublog award was well chosen. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks,
    James
