Hi Ben and Joan, another great podcast, thank you! I am wondering what Joan used for her screencasts? I have just played with screen-o-matic (again, thanks for the tip on that one). Is this what you used? It seems a little grainy and slow. I have downloaded fraps, but I can’t get the full version for free. What tips do you have for great screencasts?
    Thanks
    Kylie

Wow. I am a little slow today, sorry. I see that you used the Smart notebook recording feature, silly me. Still the tips on using screencasting programs would be very much appreciated. I will play with the Smartboard recorder and see how I go.
    Thanks again!

Thank you once again for a wonderful podcast. Sometimes even the smallest tip can have a tremendous impact on using a Smart Board more effectively.

I liked the tip on using something else to move objects around on the Smart Board. My 6 year old always has too much moisture on her hands to use her fingers. Our solution was to make a customized tool to move things around that was safe for the Smart Board. Unfortunately, we found that using one of the Smart Board pens to move objects confused her when she was switching between moving and writing.

I also liked the tip on customizing the Smart Board tool bar on the Mac. The only solution I have for Window users is to customize the Start Center toolbar. You can even add applications to it. Yesterday, I put up a short video on how to do this on my Smart Board blog.

    Keep up the good work!

    Jim
